Appalachian State Beats Michigan in ‘One of Greatest Upsets in Sports History’

What was supposed to be a tuneup turned into a stunner: Appalachian State 34, No. 5 Michigan 32. Julian Rauch's 24-yard field goal with 26 seconds left put the Mountaineers ahead of the Wolverines and Corey Lynch's blocked field goal in the final seconds sealed one of college football's biggest upsets.

Being a Wolverine fan, I only have one observation (drawn from watching their last two seasons): Michigan went into the OSU game 11-0 last year IN SPITE of Carr’s poor play calling. Carr is the only coach who has MORE talent on his team than HE knows what to do with… he’s weak.

Congrats to App State on beating Carr’s ineptness.

Michigan deserves to lose, they’re the cockiest, snobbiest school in America. Here’s an MSU Spartan salute to Appalachian State University! Whip em! And don’t ever let em forget you whipped em good! Well done lads!

Option the media rights ASAP. This scream a quick Disney made-for-cable movie for release right around the Bowl season.
