We conservatives abhor "brainwashing" because it represents an affront to our individuality and our right to ratoinal choices. I don't think liberals consider "brainwashing" a perjorative, as long as THEY are the ones DOING the brainwashing with their propaganda. To them, brainwashing (e.g., daily talking points, chants for unions and "occupiers" chant at meetings, bumper stickers, posters, pickets) is a useful tool to overcome "gridlock.' It smoothes the way on the road to their socialist utopia. That's why the USSR & Nazis ("National SOCIALISM") had official departments of propaganda. This administration doesn't need an official department called that because they have the mainstream media which is a de facto propaganda department.

Whether it be smoking weed, hookin' it, are anything else, folks who are fed up with being controlled by government are gravitating to Paul's message. Sadly, they tend not to recognize the danger that Ron Paul presents. Ron Paul seems to think that we can keep our Liberty if we just play nice with the rest of the world. He has this idea that a bully will leave you alone if you just be nice to him. Ron Paul thinks that fighting and fighting back are the same thing, that both are wrong. He is profoundly mistaken. What he does not realize is that if the tyrants left us alone, and stopped stealing the liberty of others, we WOULD be nice to them because they earned it.
Ron Paul has some of the most important things backward. Have you noticed that Ron Paul is quite self deprecating when it comes to the these united States, but he never has any criticism for any other country, any other leader or any action taken by any country or population but this one?

America is good kind and decent, whereas so many other nations around the world are interested in destroying her and the freedom that barely remains here.
