Wasn’t far from three directly involved from the look of it.

This is another consequence of global warming. I bet that after the investigation, we will find that turbulence due to heat will have been a factor. This is terrible. Best wishes for the family of the pilot of the plane that got the worst of that encounter. The other pilot probably lived, but…

I hate to say it but the pilot that died did so doing something he obviously loved, you don’t become a pilot on a team like that because you are ambivalent about flying.

There are worse ways to die.

Still, wishing the best for the families involved.

I think you can see one of the pilots falling faster that the plane, near the end of the video.

Ummm, there’s no falling bodies in the video, only falling body parts. From what I could tell, the collision offers no possibility of the remains staying intact.

Terrible. You can see just before the collision that one of the planes dips when it should be gaining altitude. Maybe the pilot’s hand slipped momentarily. That’s my non-expert take on it. And for those of you who take some sick pleasure from this, you have no respect for science and math and physics. An air show is a celebration of man’s mastery over the laws of nature. The same attitude that allows you to drive a car safely or undergo a life saving medical procedure. What happened here was a freak accident, yes because humans arent’t perfect, but have some respect. Than again, I’m not surprised by that level of knuckle dragging ignorance and vengeful fire and brimstone hypocrisy from Drudge’s readership.

Bush and Rove probably did this to divert attention away from Iraq, Iran and 9/11 conspiracies. Pull out NOW!

This looks like the very same “pierced-heart” maneuver that the Italian team Frecce Tricolori (I think they’re called), did to the same result. It happened at Ramstein AB in Germany back in 1988.
I was there. It was horrible. And so are the idiots saying things like, “they deserve it”, or “what do you expect from the Poles”. You people are heartless scum.
These were PEOPLE flying those planes…not liberals!

As far as the comment of the poster #4 (Pilot)goes, I know you tried. But it is not “Much Kabasca”. What you hear is “Matko Boska”, which is “God’s Mother”. The whole commentary goes somewhat like this:
