More smears. No, he’s not; it’s been proven a fraudulent claim, over and over again. Then again, some small minds just cannot let go. If the wife of the former impeached president thinks she’s going to win, she needs to remind herself how she sat idly by and watch bill clinton ignore the Khobar Towers attack, the US embassy attacks in Africa, the first WTC, attack and the attack on the USS Cole. She says “there is nothing to base it on as far as I know”, in other words, the rumor that he is a Muslim is in her opinion, baseless, without a base.Nobody has ever told her on what the rumor is based. This is clear language and somebody at Drudge is trying to discredit this woman.
But the twist is, that the article manages to discredit both Democrats at the same time because it finds a reason to repeat the rumor that Obama might be a Muslim.

Obama is a Christian. He belongs to a church and has been baptized. That church may be very liberal in it’s doctrine but that is a matter for discussion among brothers and sisters in Christ, not the public at large.
All you have to do to become a Christian is, to Hear, Believe, Repent, and be Baptized. Once you do this you belong to the church no matter what anyone says about your past or your family. Until Obama says otherwise I must accept and, yes, love him as a brother.

If he is secretly Muslim or quasi-muslim, his family life strongly suggests he ain’t the “blow up the world” sort of Muslim. No, if he’s muslim, he’s the kind of muslim hard-core muslims love to hate.
In any event, this is all inuendo and fear-mongering. If you don’t like Obama, give me something sunstantial to agree with you on. Give my policy. Give me evidence of lies and not just rumors. Give me an argument based on his voting record in the Senate. Those sorts of arguments I can respect.
But this stuff? Meh.
I am not a Hillary fan, but that part of her quote is taken out of context. She says repeatedly that Obama is not a Muslim, but once adds those three words. The people that think that she is smearing Obama or that Obama is in fact a Muslim (or that it would matter if he actually were) are not total morons who cannot comprehend what they hear with their own two ears. As far as I know.

Personally- I think most of the democratic party should be shot, by firing squad, for sedition. The golden boy and hillary should be the first to go.

Most of the comments imply that it would be a bad thing if Senator Obama were a Muslim. So what if he is? Why is being a “devout Christian” a good thing all of a sudden? I thought that one of the reasons liberals hate George Bush so much is because he’s a devout Christian.

There’s an incorrect statement on this board from a well-meaning but misinformed supporter. Barack Obama was NEVER a Muslim. Not even as a child. He lived in Indonesia but never prayed to Allah. He went to Catholic school in Indonesia for two years (but you don’t have to be Catholic to go to a Catholic school) and he went to a school affiliated with Islam for two years (but you didn’t have to be a Muslim to attend). I am less concerned about OB being Muslim than I puzzled by why is a follower and member of that whacko church he belongs to in Chicago. The minister is a bigot and racist and is so far outside mainstream christian theology to be laughable.
