Would-be presidential candidate Stephen Colbert is reportedly dropping his bid for the White House. He made a surprise phone call to the "Brian and the Judge" radio show.

Jeesh, the lousy, stinkin’ democrat party in South Carolina voted against allowing him on the ballot, so he couldn’t even get a chance in the primary there. Choice is great, except when it comes to anything the lefties think would hurt ‘em.

Excuse me, Mr. Nader, but if I’m not mistaken Colbert wanted to run as both Democrat AND Republican. And both sides are keeping him from being on the ballot. It isn’t a one-sided thing, as much as you apparently want it to be.

he’s a retard & we have TOO many already in DC!!

Ralph Nader   November 5th, 2007 - 4:10 pm

WRONG, Lina. For your information, Colbert couldn’t come up with the filing fee to run on the Republican ballot. “Last week the South Carolina DEMOCRAT Executive Council REJECTED Colberts application to be on the primary ballot by a 13-3 vote; Colbert did not apply to appear on the state GOP primary ballot.” And yes, Lina, it is a ONE SIDED THING. Check your facts before posting. Like the old saying goes, its better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt!

He is a retard. But he would fit right in with the likes of Biden, Clinton, Dodd, Edwards, Kucinich, Gravel, Obama, Richardson. So whats 1 more?

Remember, remember the 5th of November

In less than ONE DAY, Republican Presidential candidate RON PAUL has received more than $2.5 MILLION DOLLARS from a grassroots campaign, FAR EXCEEDING other Republican candidates for the quarter, including Jon McCain.

Vote Freedom. Support our Troops.

SUPPORT RON PAUL!

I think Colbert thought it would be fun until he actually got there! He probably could not run away fast enough once he saw how politics really works.
