All they had to do was run a centrist, any centrist, and they would have owned the White house (along with the congress) in a walk.

Even Hillary had a good chance to win. Every historical indicator – unpopular war, bad economy, 8-years of other party rule – says the Dems should get the White house.

So did they run a centrist? Noooooo! They just had to blow it by pushing their luck and running a far left ideologue in Obama.

Obama is a typical far-left Chicago democrat with a great speaking voice. All talk.

The voting public that counts – the swing voters -are not fooled by Obama’s claims of bringing a new kind of politics.

I wholeheartedly agree with every word Parker posted here. Any centrist would have been sufficient. Hillary could have been that centrist.

How out of touch and arrogant the Democratic leadership proves itself to be again. Why would you throw your strongest candidate under the bus. Either way, she is still a Democrat and part of the party.

Also the insistence that Senator Clinton end her run early makes no sense. It just alienates half of their base.

Kerry loss due to an elitist persona that was so off-putting and out of touch with working class American sensibilities. The Obamas exude the same Ivy League sense of entitlement, on top of that there is so much Black empowerment baggage.

Now is not the time to have a far left liberal running this country. As commonsense seems to have left the Democratic party, I am seriously considering John McCain.

It’s funny but you people cannot seem to get it that Hillary would NOT win against McCain as she has more people who despise her than will vote for her. If she did win what would we have here in America? NOTHING but the same that McCain wants to give us and that means NO CHANGE in this corrupt political system we currently have. The Clintons did the US NO FAVORS while in the oval office except giving America away to the Chinese and foreign interest groups so they could make money for Billy’s Library after he left. They also gave us National and International shame for Bill’s actions with Monica. Get real you die hard Clinton lovers, the Clinton Dynasty is ending and hopefully for good! They can take their greedy, self-centered bodies back to New York and pout because the eyes of the real Americans are opened now. Goodbye Bill and Hillary, don’t let the door hit you in the butt.
