Am I the only one who notices the glaring ommission here?
What about the black woman who falsely accused the young men?
Does she get immunity because she’s black and female?
It’s great that Nifong got in trouble for abusing the law. That’s one white guy down.
But now how about justice for the woman who aggravated race relations nationwide and did a pretty good job of ruining the lives of the young college guys?
Let’s see, if I make a false report that results in a big legal mess, will the law just walk away from me and dust its hands off after the report is found to be a fabrication?
Or will I end up with jail and fines to pay restitution to those I accused falsely?
Lets have a little honesty and fair application of the law here.
I believe the ‘Durham Dirtbag’ needs to be sitting in jail and sending her money to the falsely accused players…..for years.
I also believe the dominant media culture should have the courage and integrity to bring her to account and keep her name in the news for a change, not the Duke players.
Or does fairness only apply to certain races and genders? Now does that work?
