Almost ALL of our energy problems can be pinned on the Liberal Democrat Party. No drilling, no new refineries in US, no Nuclear energy plants, no new dams hydro electric. Thanks alot Greenie Democrats. It takes many acres of hay, oats, to feed these new thousands of mules, horses it will create MORE greenhouse gases. The one thing I know it will be these Libs that will be starving. The Conservative knows HOW to WORK and usually have firearms and friends that are farmers! Libs are LOSERS!
Next up the libs will want to remove the mules and make the farmer pull the rigs by hand. How nice that in 2008 we are going backwards. Will Obama remove the air conditioner from the White House, and will he not ride in the black SUVs’ or have huge White House meals??? Government control is NEVER good.
On a very small farm like this, why not!

Those mules never rolled that hay bale he was leaning on. Two mules raking hay is not going to save $70 daily, not until fuel reaches $30 a gallon. To Libertt, the mules will enjoy the work!
My family farmed that way till more efficient,cost effective ways came along. I can just see the PETA folks protesting the unfair working conditions these two mules are subjected to. I personally think building more nuclear power plants, drilling for more methane and relaxing some of the restrictions that are preventing the expansion of wind and hydroelectric sources could this farmer and many like him. I personally enjoy growing a few hundred pounds of fruit and vegetables a year without tractors for my own use, but It would be difficult to do on a commercial scale without some modern power sources.
