May we recommend Port City Studios at portcitystudios.org, an online gallery of photographic art including LA and Hollywood landmarks photographed between 1987 and 1999. These landmarks cannont be replaced, whether they be the Ambassador Hotel, demolished by choice, or the classic corner of Hollywood and Vine, demolished by fire.

Why do all the news video pieces have to have all the station graphics and titles? That stuff covers up most of the important part of the news view – what an irritation that is. Am I the only one who doesn’t like that stuff on the screen while we watch the news story? But who do we contact to complain – not that it would accomplish anything anyway?
