Ferraro obviously is not a supporter of affirmative action! Obama is the affirmative action candidate. Get on board or join the republicans who just want talent and don’t care about race or gender. They are judgmental and intolerant. Talent is a subjective measure. Race and Gender are not debatable. Identity should determine our decisions regarding public policy and office!

If she was even THINKING about Whites when she said that, it must surely be a HATE CRIME! Only non-Whites are allowed to celebrate their race silly! Whites must BE ASHAMED of their race! Didn’t you get the memo?
I’ve seen those “hateful” flyers showing a picture of a White woman and encouraging us all to “Love Our Race.” Yup! Can’t you just SMELL the HATE?

Ferraro is right about both Obama and Jesse Jackson. Neither of their campaigns would have made it very far without the rampant identity politics of the Democratic party. However, she conveniently omits herself from the list of inexperienced, unsubstantial, or radical candidates who receive “protection” from valid criticism by hiding behind race or gender.

In ‘88, Jesse was an outspoken anti-Semite and race-baiter who never held any political office. In ‘08, Obama brings three whole years of almost invisible Senate experience and a big bag of fluff called “hope and change” to the national debate. Likewise in ‘84, Ferraro was an unknown congresswoman with six years in political office, and a crooked husband with mob ties.

Ferraro’s observations are self-evident truths. Without being black Obama could not be the “magic Negro” that so many giddy, out-of-touch, affluent whites want to think he is. The “racism” is on the part of his supporters, who refuse to recognize this sham for what he is through the color of his skin.

Both democratic candidates are very weak. If Obama was not black, he would not be in the race, plain and simple. If Hillary’s last name was not Clinton, she would not be a Senator, or a candidate for President.

This year, the Democrats have the most inexperienced, and in Hillary’s case, incompetent candidates that I can recall. Frankly, everything Hillary has attempted to managed has failed due to the poor management of the endeavor. Obama has promise, but he needs real world experience.

But, for Democrats, faith and identity is the most important aspect of their primary process. Grown-ups will get involved at general election time.

Who says he’s Black? I’m voting for the White half, which is better than a full-White Clinton or McCain. His Black half is a bonus – won’t put up with the White Man’s lies and will get in the face of any Amadinijad who tries to diss him.

“Race” is a political term, not a scientific one. There is no such thing as “race” in biology or in any branch of science. It is a term used only for purposes of artificially dividing people into groups. People who think in terms of race or make an issue of it are not necessarily ignorant or bigoted. They may be trying to manipulate others who are, though.

People who genuinely hate or look down upon those who have been labeled as a particular race are often simply people whose inherent anger needs a target. News organizations who emphasize race are simply trying to capture that market.

Of course she’s right. That pandering intellectual fly weight Obama wouldn’t even be elected dog catcher if he was white.

Her comments and her mea culpa would be believable if she had not made the identical comments about Jesse Jackson when he ran. At that time she made the exact same claims when he saw success at the polls. If a person is black and loses, it is proof to her argument of discrimination and need for government action to level the playing field. If a person is black and loses, its because blacks are only viewed favorably. What a phony she and her ideas are.

In one sense, she’s right . . . if it were a white man with the same charisma, the same common sense and vision, and the oratorical skills, the landslide of support would be far greater and Hillary would have been out of the race weeks ago.
