Obama will issue a statement calling for calm when he should issue a statement of support for these people seeking freedom from an oppressive government!

A majority of Arabs are fed up with repressive regimes and will be heartened to see Iranian protester’s triumph over forces of coercion. But any sign of Western intervention would immediately place the events in a different context in a region dominated by politics and the consequences of the Israeli-Arab conflict.
