This is just another instance of over zealous government code enforcers, like the TX Child Services, that either failed to appropriately acquaint themselves with the relevant legal limitation to their authority or intentionally were pushing the legal envelope in the hope of expanding their power at the expense of individual liberties for the rest of us.

Too funny – I actually watched all the way through waiting for them to to take the covering off the panels so I could read the whole message, waiting until the parade reached its final destination. Never realized that the head of the parade gave away the gag. I just sat and waited for the offensive part thinking I’d be shown some photo or the set up to the punchline.

I actually had to go back a second time for the “that’s it?” payoff. Personally, I’ve seen much more provocative work in bathroom stalls. But kudos to the artist for getting this show wide and far.

Performance art by is nature is supposed to invoke a reaction. Creators with insufficient aesthetic values attempt to generate shock value.

The problem with Arboleda’s Assassination theme is that too often life imitates art. And what I’ve seen from many posters on this board, assassination of a liberal candidate is acceptable.

3.) Is everybody a national security threat that saw it?
