Hate breeds hate and that is what you have here. Spending time in Israel last summer, I saw the way the Palestian’s are treated, which was very difficult to understand. I hated it. They are living in ‘walled cities’ NEVER allowed to come out, even the Christian Palestinians are never allowed to leave (walled cities are Bethlehem and 5 more right now). We met Scotchish -Christian-Palestinians, as ‘white’ skinned as you can get who were constantly being persecuted by the Israelis. Our Palestinian-Christian travel agent brought us to the airport and because we were with him we were detained, searched at every check point, yelled at, asked why and how long we were with this (most kind, caring) man. It was appalling and made us sick as well as investigate/study more about the situation. I still feel it is not right for another human being to be treated this way, but, bottom line, the Muslims will turn on any infidel at any time if need be. Israel is just protecting itself. Look at what is happening in Europe and England. We American’s/America better wake-up. Their movement is insidious; we cannot continue to be tolerant and accepting-it will be to our demise. Look at all the countries surrounding Israel, they are all Muslim. There are 20 countries surrounding Israel (most of North Africa) that are Muslim and support one another. This is a great amount of land and power if need be, and they STILL want Israel, a tiny country fighting for its preservation as a nation unto itself.
I had to come into agreement with what Israel is doing to perserve and protect itself and its citizens even when I see some inhumane things they are doing to do so.

To the biblically minded, Jews and Muslims are equal. Neither submit to God through Christ. Therefore we should treat them BOTH with respect and CONSIDERATION as Jesus did with all unbelievers.

I wish the war in Iraq had never happened. I feel so sad for the turmoil that is happening in their lives. No one should have to live through that.
Historically capitulating to an attacker never appeases them it only motivates them. The response to an attack must be an overwhelming response that leaves no doubt in the attackers mind. History has proven many times a weak kneed response only motivates them more. Today popular opinion that shows less than a solid resolve only provokes continued and stronger attacks.
Do you want to live in peace? I do. Occasionally some one gets a knot in their shorts and with a sense of entitlement they think what you have is theirs. A strong response will make a shorter conflict; a weak response will prolong the conflict.
Make your decisions and take the results.
I am not a young person although I was once. When I was young I thought I had all the answers. Life has taught me that often things are a lot more complicated than they appear initially.
I was raised in a religious family, we attended services regularly. I grew up with a certain belief that there was a being that gave us direction.
As I have gotten older and learned more history and experienced more and more in life I find it sad that so many bad things have been committed in the name of God. For the aggressors there seems to be two types of motivation. First is greed and power the other is God. Greed and power I understand, but that does not mean I condone their actions, on the contrary. I find it reprehensible. But I cannot understand ANYONE killing in the name of God. Anybody’s God. This has to be the top of the list of oxymorons. I don’t care what your religion; there no religion condones killing someone else because they have a different religion. Today, there are even different sects of the same religion killing each other. Where are the religious leaders? What are they saying? Are they condoning or promoting the attack of other religions or other sects? I think they are and they are the problem. They are NOT religious but have lowered themselves to the lowest form of humanity. Greed and Power. They are no different than the Hitler’s and Stalin’s of this planet. If you defend them, then you are at a minimum misled, and probably uneducated and at the worst complicit. That makes you as guilty as they are.
Here are some rules for life.
1. “God†does not want you to kill.
2. Everyone needs ‘their’ space.
3. No two entities can occupy the same space.
4. Multi culturism does not work.
5. A weak response to a current conflict exaserbates and extends the conflict.
6. If you and your family want to be happy, Injustices of the past cannot be redeemed in the present or future. (What happened in the past might have been wrong, and probably was, but it is not worth hurting your family for today)
