LAPD’s “Community Mapping” Plan Draws Mixed Reviews

A police plan to map out Muslim communities, a proposal that civil rights groups sharply criticized as racial and religious profiling, has been shelved, a police spokeswoman said Wednesday.

This would be a great idea and I hope it will be taken off the shelf and employed one day…it could help prevent the same kind of terrorism that has happened New York City, London and Madrid!! Reaching out to Muslim youth through community programs and sports could help them to assimilate into American society even more than they have already!!
