So McCain thinks that staying in the war, and continuing the Bush policies of self-destruction are going to help our economy? Obama wants to mend relationships with our overseas neighbors, you know, the one’s we trade with who currently don’t like us all that much. He also wants to tax the wealthy but give the middle and lower classes a much needed break. He also wants to invest in education and energy research to help create alternative energy methods. All of which will increase the everyday person’s ability to live and spend.
But McCain, who has never run his own business either I would remind him, comes from money and hasn’t had to struggle for decades. Obama and his young family had to struggle through debt and everyday life until his book took off a few years ago.
It’s a shame McCain. It’s a shame.
And before I leave this thred – I forgot to mention something overly obvious –
Obama has created the most successful Presidential Campaign “business” in U.S. Government history amazing millions and millions of dollars from small donors utlizing the modern realities of the internet. What has McCain done to prove he is fiscally responsible and a good manager? Anything yet?

It’s a good time for McCain because he can give it everything he has now while staying inside his tiny budget. The Democrats are a bit restrained since they don’t want to wipe him out before the convention and have the republicons dump McCain and select a good candidate. I note the hate between the liberals and cons here is quite strong. But the con’s support for ‘their’ candidate McCain is very weak. The only reason McCain is there at all is because of his lobbyist money and the ability to financially pay for it all. All the others had to drop out since none of the cons would give them any money. Of course McCain is just a lobbyist’s stooge. Like he flip-flopped recently on wiretapping to defend his telecom buddies for more cash in return…

As a small business owner, I am fearful of an Obama presidency. His economic plan of increasing personal income taxes will affect LLCs and partnerships, the most popular small business structures, since we are taxed at personal income tax rates. In addition, his plan to double capital gains will stife venture capital and other business investments.
How anyone can defend these policies as pro-growth is beyond me.
Don’t you love the distractions they throw out there? “jobs.” Never talk about quality of jobs. McCain thinks creating service jobs like maids is just fine and then says that Americans don’t want those jobs so we should give them to illegals and then make them into Americans so we need a whole new batch of illegals. This guys is evil incarnate.
What we want is quality of life. I don’t give a F&*K if I have a job but have to live on a street with Mexican grafitti and everyone speaking Spanish. Why bother?
Business creates jobs, not the government. If you want a better quality of life, you have to earn it. But, in your case, why bother?

Republicans like to talk big but never live up to their campaign claims.
Compare the last eight years to the Clinton administration and ask yourself which period was better for America. The evidence is in front of your face people. Open your eyes.
Good for business doesn’t necessarily equal good for the economy or good for America.

The Kol Nidre is the holiest Jewish prayer and is recited several times on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. It means “all vows” and is a flat statement that no promise of any kind will be kept for the coming year. It is also sung by the cantor in synagogue, accompanied on the violin and goes like this:

“The Jazz Singer,” the first talkie with Al Jolsen, describes the great devotion that Jews have for this “prayer.” Jolsen plays a cantor’s son who tries to break away from Jewish tradition but who in the end is drawn back to it, finally agreeing to sing the Kol Nidre on the great day. It is ironic that Hollywood’s first motion picture with sound should have dealt with this explosive subject, even if the words were sung in Hebrew.
Can any person or people with this mentality be trusted? The Kol Nidre mentality is the underlying cause for all the anti-Jewish reaction by normal people down through the ages. Have we ever heard a renunciation of this “prayer” by any Jew – orthodox, reform or otherwise? In fact, how many of us are even aware of this subversive practice, this license to lie, which is glorified in a holy ritual every year?
Every Jew in a position of power, from Paul Wolfowitz to your judge, doctor or teacher, should be questioned on this subject. Jewish judges should be asked to recuse themselves on this grounds automatically. Only in this positive but defensive manner can we at this late date begin to take charge of our lives by denouncing the lie of “anti-Semitism” and confronting those whose practices are based on deception.
Remember the motto of Israel’s elite organization, the Mossad: “By way of deception thou shalt make war.”
