"As far as the Salt Lake City thing, he's a Mormon and the Mormons of Salt Lake City had caused that scandal. And to clean that up, again, it's not a subject."

Please, Mrs. McCain, whats wrong with a you? Can’t you see your son hasn’t a chance with his flip flopping on the immigration issue? He’s sunk, so forget about your dreams of waking up in the Lincoln Bedroom and sauntering out to the Rose Garden.

LOL what an piece of work McCains mother is. If he is smart he will send her back to the home and out of public view.

Real American   November 10th, 2007 - 7:35 pm

Will his mom set our policy also?

Think it’s time to put mom in a rest home …

Open mouth, insert foot. That wasn’t a misspeak, that was internal feelings coming out. Should not have said that. That is another blow to the McCain campaign.

As a Mormon may I say, what in the crap is she talking about. I hear more lame punches thrown at my faith by individuals not knowing anything about what I truly believe in, it gets old. This election with Romney being in the spotlight has brought out some peoples true feelings and perceptions about Mormons, and many are simply ignorant. I don’t know what kind of President Romney would make, but if the decision comes down to his morals, rest assured that as a Mormon they are strong. The importance of family and Jesus Christ are what we believe, and if Romney is a faithful member then rest assured that his morals will not be the issue.

Way to throw mom under the bus John. They looked like manequins not people, next to each other.

As a mormon, although I respect Mrs. McCain as Sen. McCain’s aging mother, I feel very sorry for her. It must be horrible being near the end of your life and being that consumed with hatred.

Jon AuStiN TX   November 11th, 2007 - 1:48 pm

oh WOW….did she really just say that? She reminds me of my grandmother…opening her damn mouth without thinking…

Reason   November 11th, 2007 - 6:04 pm

I see nothing wrong with Mrs. McCain’s comments. Let’s just hope she applies the same good judgement toward all religions and superstitions. Golden Tablets in Western NY? You’ve got to be kidding. It’s a “latter day testament” to human credulity that this huckster is still fooling people almost two centuries later.

Yeah, the woman can hardly speak english anymore, time to put her in a home Johnny! She is obviously a mother who wants to see her son become president, even if it means disparaging other worthy opponents faiths.

Juanita   November 12th, 2007 - 12:08 am

Yeah, she needs to stay home. I wonder why he has to bring her along to interviews. Doesn’t seem helpful to his campaign. Where’s his wife?
