I remember the very first time I heard Rush mention Drudge. When I got home from work I asked my son … ‘how do I get on the Drudge Report?’. Went there and was amazed at what I could read. Sure Drudge is an aggregator, however he controls what he aggregates, so you can stop already with that line about us not knowing this.

The problem with this country is the negative attitudes that are proven every day on articles that drudge links to. It’s folks like the posters here who say take our country back, muslim, kenyan, nazi, socialist, take your govt hands off my medicare, death panels, etc, etc, etc. You all get these same old lines and post them every day and never once talk about issues in a meaningful way.

Here is the real story folks.

Matt Drudge is a typical Ultra Rich Conservative. Just like Rupert Murdouch it is in his financial interest to have the two parties fighting each other as it makes more money from advertising.

If you dont understand online marketing, ads on the Drudge report are served and charged on a cost per thousand page impressions. And Drudge is a thief, he auto refreshes his site if you leave it on the main page, which in turn displays a new ad, when there was no page being changed. This really is a scumbag’s tactic as anyone that advertises on his site is basically paying for inflated page views.

You want to make Matt Drudge more money just always keep drudge open and you will line his pockets.

You want to make Rupert Murdoch money, by the books his million dollar talking heads promote 3 times per show. Fox News is one big informercial if you havent figured that out yet and you think its “fair and balanced”. The ads are 50% Wall Street Journal and National Review which are both owned by the parent company news corp. They bring in experts from these rags to promote the view point of Murdoch, and they play off of your fears that you guns and bibles will be gone soon.

While the liberal message is clear, and pathetic, you have to give them props for the creativity and execution. Well done, even if the message is factually incorrect, morally reprehensible, and misleading. Very nicely done overall, and again, very creative. Kudos!

Not exactly … while it is just linking to other sites, the fact that Matt Drudge changes the headlines to fit his ideology pushes Drudge Report into the propaganda arena. Likewise, by selecting only one side of a story, liberal or conservative, Matt Drudge pushes his ideology even further. I read Drudge regularly, but his rhetoric is all too apparent.

If you Google Image Search “Joel Madden” you’ll see 8 fedoras in the first 20 results. It’s just a coincidence that he looks like Matt Drudge.
