This country is becoming a tax disaster. Using tax returns to prove whether or not a person is good, or honest or decent is just plain wrong. Our tax system is punitive, vindictive and I believe illegal. Our forefathers were willing to put their lives and properties on the line to tell Old George that enough was enough. Would that we were as brave and strong as they. Repeal the 16th Amendment!

I find it interesting that they are making an issue of it. 1) When Geraldine Ferraro ran for VP with Mondale, her husband wouldn’t share his tax records, and she got slammed for it. (I believe she was charged, but I may be wrong.)
2) If Bill Clinton refused to show his tax records, that would be a “crime”.
But the question remains, “Why is it so important that we know their tax records?”
I also wish that Brietbart played the whole part of the interview, not just a 30 second bite.

Welcome the McCain’s closet. Please keep the attention on the Democrats. This is just the first peek into the personal life of the worst presidential candidate the Republican’s have had in a very long time.

I just cant stand the thought of Obama and his wife as they dance in the oval office …”I like big butts and I cant deny that”
I’ll take McCain any day and Im a democrat

It’s nobody’s business what Cindy Mccain made.
Nor do I care if she steals pills and pops them -none of my business.

Who really gives a hoot about cindy’s tax return, she is not running. If that applies for her then i would love to see Michele Obama’s thesis from her college days.Kind of strange that the college said it would be released the day AFTER the Nov. election. Why do you think that is,could there be something there that they do not want America to know about a possible first lady??Just imagine if McCain had said something would be realeased the day after,or even better yet if Hillary and Bill had said that.Of course it can’t be racially motivated, that hasn’;t happened yet with the obama campaign…you know “Change we can believe in” as opposed to” Beliefs that keep changing”.I am sure it is all an innocent mistake and she really does love America and espiecially white people, after all 92 percent of black dem. voters can’t be wrong…can they???

Good for her! If they filed taxes separately she has every right to refuse. Isn’t it a woman’s right to choose what she does with her documents?? ;-0
Hey Rev Telkal and Mat! We wanna see your tax returns right now! Got a problem with that? What? You’re not running for President? Well gee! Mrs. McCain isn’t either!

Jay   May 9th, 2008 - 12:29 pm

Maybe the reason people want to see her returns is to know if she’s making any money from corporations john mcain may have influence over

Actually, that was all that was shown in the Today interview. Here is a link for the full video:
