"I cannot believe what is happening on the plane. She cannot get up, and nothing on the plane works."

Wherever Haitians go, trouble and lawsuits follow.

…So…Seejay’s wrong?

Klatuu   February 25th, 2008 - 12:01 pm

I’m not surprised about anything that happens on an American Airlines flight. This is one of the most uncaring and uncomprimisingly ignorant companies operatng today.

Seejay, Seejay, Seejay, man don’t you have one teeny weeny bit of compassion for anyone if they are not white. While I agree that (statistically speaking) ppl of color have earned the right for the statistics that follow them.

However, this woman did nothing but buy a plane ticket. Surely you can see how devestating this is for her family members? Are you saying that they should NOT sue the airlines? What Would Seejay Do?

Now having said all that… where does the oxygen come from when those little yellow masks drop from the ceiling?

Bill   February 25th, 2008 - 2:54 pm

Why is she getting on a flight with her own oxygen tank empty?

This is just another scam. Come to the U.S. and play the legal lottery – Chances are the company will settle out of court and you and your shyster lawyer will get rich.

If you travel on any airline and you have a known serious medical condition you should notify the airline of that condition. This is to ensure the airline is is prepared to handle a possible emergency related to that condition. And they wil also provide you with a checklist of tasks you should perform before, during and after the flight.

Where have you been Seejay? Bashing racists just isn’t as fun without your idiotic comments floating around.

I suppose you think the doctors and nurses on board were just part of the plan, eh? What an idea cuz, let’s have you die on the plane so I can sue AA! I’ll make sure the oxygen tanks and the defibrillator are broken too!!

Donzi   February 25th, 2008 - 10:08 pm

Seejay is and has always been right on the money. If you don’t agree with him you are either idiots or race traitors! It will be hillarious when you find out that you are nothing more than a racist yourself in their eyes. No matter what you say or do. White people wake up! Don’t think for a second that your love is reciprocated – they only understand hate. So it is our duty, as Americans and Whites to give it to them.

Look what love has done? You really think more will work?

and now for the rest of the story   February 25th, 2008 - 10:22 pm

When I first read the story I thought it sounded a bit fishy. Now the airline is disputing the account of the incident with facts. Unfortuantely, as is often the case with this type of tragedy, it sounds like the family is trying to get a big payout. I would be curious to see other passengers accounts of the story (the ones who don’t stand to benefit from the alleged “neglect” of the airline).

Dam, I hate to have to defend the airlines here. They are one of the poorest service industries around, not to mention the absolute travesty that is the TSA and the thugs and goons they hire. However, I believe AA is probably not in the wrong here.

The dead woman looks a little like the kid in “Mask”

TheSitRep   February 25th, 2008 - 10:57 pm

I remember to go to a frickin’ hospital instead of an airline next time I next cardiac care. duh!

Rover   February 26th, 2008 - 4:15 am

The “reports” on what happened here are total BS! The truth will come out soon enough…

Sometimes, God chooses to kill airline passengers too…

SeeeeeJaaaaay… Run outside quick!! I think the black kids from down the street are swiping your lawn lights!!! But before you run out the door, be sure to put your pants back on!!
