Those things were in horrible shape before the flooding, and now they’re unlivable.
The behavior of these people explains the problems New Orleans has always faced – the preference for the way things have always been over making a difference and taking some personal responsibility.
New Orleans is still rebuilding, there are more jobs than people to fill them, but these folks would rather riot for their run down rat infested mold covered free housing than go get JOBS so they could pay rent like the rest of us.

Did none of you watch the video. I didn’t see any black faces trying to crash the gates. There may be some who are opposed to the tearing down of the projects but, I’d guess the majority are looking forward to living in a safer and cleaner environment.
What you have here are a bunch of liberal “do-gooders” who bounce from protest to protest. Never mind the reason for protesting..lets just protest for the sake of protesting.

This was a horrible video to watch because I used to live in New Orleans up to 4 weeks ago. There are no jobs and the jobs they are paying people can not afford the rent.

To the comments above I have a BA degree and working on a MA and could not afford to live in New Orleans. An average 2 bedroom runs 1300 to 2000.00 a month in a safe area. The racism is horrible in New Orleans.

God is not pleased about this whole situation. If we do not come together things like this will happen again…

We need to pray and help each other out. I live in Ohio and could never return to New Orleans again. I am trying to get my family to move from that place. God is coming to judge New Orleans soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
