This is so sad. I just don’t understand why white people are so angry. Why go to a school and shoot innocent people. What type of parenting did this kid have.So barbaric!

Teachers who have passed a course and are legally licensed to carry should be allowed access to handguns in school in order to stop this carnage as soon as possible.

Priscilla….why make the comment “white” people. This has nothing to do with race. Go to your nearest convenience store and tell me how many “white” angry people you see………

Of course, there are already armed guards in schools such as the one that beatup the girl in CA for spilling cake on the floor. Or there are police like the one that killed the six people in Ohio. Teachers are not immune to going nuts so they would just add thousands of more trigger points to go off among defenseless children. The teacher in the news recently would never pass a critical firearms psychological evaluation since she is a paranoid loony.

There are only two usual “solutions”. Disarm “everyone”, but you have to truly get them all since one nut could not be easily stopped. Or, arm everyone. Here at the base we all carry side arms and have reasonably fast access to long weapons. Not to prevent terrorist attack really, but to stop anyone of “us” that might go nuts. The first solution would not work here since a terrorist might really attack so we need weapons (and lots of them!). But we can’t afford anyone going nuts ether, so everyone is able to kill just as easily as the next. The goal being to stop any attack as “soon” as possible no matter how many of us get killed doing it. Of course, school kids are not able to all handle weapons responsibly and they do not have military like socialization keep them as a disciplined team rather than lone, isolated, and undetected nuts.

I am not sure either “solution” is very pleasant in a school situation. Right now we seem to depend on swat teams that can go in and take care of it. Since they are a remote “team” there is little danger from them. But they are very slow to respond. Most attackers will have run out of ammo 15 minutes before they get there…

So there is no “simple” solution. If you want an easy mindless dumb solution, just blame it all on the Republicans like I do But if you want a real solution, it will take a lot of work and though by really brilliant people… Don’t expect anything but lip service from the present administration though… Giving speeches to the NRA does not help either. Somebody really has to do something “right” for a change…

This is the fault of hand guns. All guns should be banned from society. Oh, how we need Democrats to save our society.

Absolutely, tr111. Guaranteed, if students suspected that just a handful of the teachers were armed, this kind of thing would not happen.

VivaGore, you are quite delusional to think that a ‘gun free’ society is a safe society, ask Washington and Newark about how their no gun zones are working out.

It was a black kid that punched him in the face first – then he snapped and killed people. I don’t fault the kid at all. If schools are not going to keep bullies in check then so be it. In some ways they got what they deserved…

When I was born in 1960 America was 90% White.

Today America is 66% White, and the calls for “diversity” have never been louder! Blacks and mixed-races ie “Hispanics” are encourged to celebrate their “heritage” -(race ), while at the same time Whites are being taught that “Race is Nothing!” And that it’s impossible to be Pro-White without HATING all other races! Browns and Blacks do this with ease, but White folks just can’t! (Pretty racist position to me).

From 90% White to 66% White in one generation. IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY, IF IT WERE ANY OTHER RACE, IT WOULD BE CALLED GENOCIDE! And many a NASTY WAR have been fought over less!
