He is very influential, because he is intelligent and thought provoking. You may not always agree with him 100 % but I will tell you most of what he has said has been right on the money. I agree with some of Dr. Saage’s ideas and disagree with some of his comments. His method of delivery is a bit difficult to take so I don’t listen very often, but I have to disagree with any free country’s limitations of free speech.

Whatever your disposition toward the person or performance of Mr. Savage, do you believe Britain is justified in excluding visitors on the basis of their expressed thoughts? Presumably Britain is part of a comity of states that adhere to some standard of freedom of conscience. If so, how can Smith justify such arbitrary impositions. Recently we’ve seen a Dutch MP denied entrance into Britain, and a Briton MP excluded from Canada. The exclusion mania is spreading. Is that good? Whatever you believe, someone somewhere believes in the opposite. Are they justified in curtailing your travels on that basis? There are literally millions of us. Despite a lack of major advertising, despite the fact that he is hated by Republicans maybe more than the Democrats, his listenership in the world of talk radio is exceeded only by Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, water carriers for the Republican party. Doc Savage carries no one’s water, and as I’ve said, he’s a great story teller. He truly baits his hook with his heart. You should give him a try. Not just one sitting.

I am probably one of the few US citizens that voted for Obama, is proudly liberal, and at the same time I listen to Savage’s radio show. Why? Well because it is entertaining. And that’s all he is: an ENTERTAINER. Same goes with Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reilly, etc, etc. He has a shtick and it has made him rich so obviously he’s going to stick to it.
