From all the news, it sounds like they hit the Straight Talk Express!!

Wow this is just amazing.

So we put this “school bus” in orbit. Been tracking it since the last nut was tightened on it. Had to wait for the perfect circumstances to shoot it down.

That’s gotta be way harder to do than shooting down a missle going a bazillion miles an hour, with cloud cover in a driving rain.

Yeh I feel much safer against a surprise missle attack.

Sleep tight.

“The Government was concerned about HUMAN LIFE”?.. OMFG! NO.. it was that they didn’t want the russians nor the Chinese getting ahold of our military secrets. What would have been the harm in saying that.. it’s NO secret! But to say that the government cares about human life was a bigger lie!

This is a Great miltary achievment for the United States. China has not grounds to be upset with this miltary acievment. Sents China without warning to any other country shoot down a weather satellite. Causing great havoc to all the rest of the worlds satellites.

Now they and Russia want a space treaty that would ban anti missile defense in space. I did not hear Russia or China say anything about this space treaty. When China without any warning to the rest of the world shot down there weather satellite. What just happen was the United States. Put Russia and China in there place. That America still is the Miltary world power of the world.

Probably a little quieter in Moscow and Peking by now.
That’s what I call the quick draw and a hit between the eyes. Shuttle lands, missle coes up and go BOOM.

Interesting that the guidance was mostly ground based and a heat seeker for close targeting. Gates even had to give the command to fire just like the old days of the Russians. They gave up a lot of secrecy and technology to do all this. With the giant press coverage, there was plenty of time to get all the spies positioned. A lot of secrets where spilled over all this.

Gates – Just another micromanager. Remember Robert McNamara? He, too, thought he was better suited and more capable than anyone else to make those big decisions. How sad that he won’t allow those actually trained in this technology to do their jobs. There is more to supporting our troops than a slap on the back when they return. This is a slap in the face.
