Not guilty

Carlo   July 29th, 2008 - 1:42 pm

If he is guilty then send him to jail. We don’t need any congressmen that are crooks. And speaking of crooks where is the investigation of Congressman “Cold Cash” Jefferson (D) Louisiana going?

Isn’t this the same jackass that wanted federal funding to build a bridge to nowhere? He’s a crook (that’s what the “Sen.” indicates).

Mike Shanahan   July 29th, 2008 - 2:23 pm

If justified, get rid of him. Equally, get Jefferson and now Wexler! He has been living in MD and Representin Boca Raton, FL by using his In-Laws address. I believe there is a tax avoidance issue hear clearly!!! Sweep them all out!

Rob   July 29th, 2008 - 2:56 pm

I am not sure if he is a crook just because he is a jerk.

I think he is an embarrassment to the Republican part…

I am not sure how he can be indicted, however, when William Jefferson from LA is not.

From a conservative republican in flyover country.

I. G. Nernt   July 29th, 2008 - 3:02 pm

It’s not possible. He’s a Republican, and Republicans attend bible believing spirit filled churches. I read conservative blogs and will listen to Rush and Sean to get the story. I don’t need to read or listen to anything that contradicts my beliefs, and I’ll always support Republicans against accusations of wrong doing. I may have a mullet and live in a trailer, and people may think I’m being manipulated by radio hosts that live in $30,000,000 mansions, but I aint I.G. Nernt for nothing!

Don’t even bother hiring an attorney. I see a presidential pardon coming, oh, around January 15th.

JC   July 29th, 2008 - 3:11 pm

By the way, telling the truth on federal affidavits is for the little people, the nobodies. Let the little guy rot in jail, not a fine upstanding politician who agrees with me.

Ann   July 29th, 2008 - 3:24 pm

At least this Republican crook’s crimes did not cost American lives like Cunningham’s did…

“Don’t even bother hiring an attorney. I see a presidential pardon coming, oh, around January 15th.”

Yea, apparently they happen every 8 years

Nat   July 29th, 2008 - 5:50 pm

This is just another smear campaign by the liberal MSM. When will it ever end? Look, if the Fine Upstanding Senator did stretch the truth a little, what’s the big deal? Everydone does it. Do you mean to tell me if terrorists came to your house and asked where your children were you would tell them the truth? At least he didn’t lie under oath to the American people about having Sex in the Oval Ofice.

So he screwed up a form about what he got from his friends. First libs complain that he’s 84, then they complain he gave wrong answers during an interview. That’s a hanging offense if you’re a conservative. Too bad Alaska isn’t a “sanctuary city” where he could sell drugs, kill somebody, and be protected from prosecution. If he’s not dead or IN jail, I’m still voting for him.

FINALLY! This dirt bag should be taken to Northern Alaska and used for “Seal Clubbing Practice.” He allowed the Oil company Execs to testify while NOT UNDER OATH. He is scum.(See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbBRiatDdbI) He a tool. A filthy, dirty, corrupted tool of Big Oil. I hope he spends the rest of his worthless life in prison. America doesn’t need dirt bags like him in Washington.

This is the same guy that spent all that money building a bridge nobody wanted. I thought he was a bum. If he gets convicted I hope they throw the book at him. Alaska deserves better.
