Team China Edges U.S. In Gymnastics

I knew it was only a matter of time–someone making an excuse for the US Women’s Olympic Gymnastics Team tanking. Blame the judges? give me a break! Your egos led to your failure to capture gold. Grow up and be accountable for your actions (or lack thereof!).

are you kidding me.. judges had nothing to do with it. as far as im concerned the judges are very quiet.. the announcers talking during the performances messed the girls up. not including that the china girls where all under age. noone was near 16 they ranged from 9 to 14.. way too young.. meaning china knew that the younger the girl the less fear they had.. china cheated and lied. trying to impress the different countries? not sure. i believe the USA should have won the gold. our girls did an awesome job. and im so proud of them.

All that money and resources wasted just so the world can watch other people play gym, pity they didn’t use it for the survivors of the earth quake or perhaps America could have rebuilt ‘Orleans with the cash they blew on this spectacle. I know, next time we’ll have that guy Phelps swim the toxic stew down there.

Sweet. I love how the commentator sounds like a Silver Medal is last place. I guess that is the Ricky Bobby mentality huh??!!! IF YER NOT FIRST YER LAST.

Congrats to the womens team they should be proud of a silver especially if there were lots of mistakes made.

At least the American Women’s team members have boobs. China didn’t field a Women’s team… they were little girls still shedding their baby teeth.

Most of these children will not be in the next Olympiad. The clumsiness they will soon experience when they eventually grow into adult women will alter their performance, or result in career ending injuries. Too bad for these kids.

It was kind of odd seeing girls that were supposed to be 16 losing their teeth and having the body of a 10-12 year old. Maybe they starve them to keep them from hitting puberty. In either case, whether they are too young or not, it’s ok because communist china gave them their passports. The US team should still be able to beat a bunch of 11 year olds, even though they weigh 40 lbs wet.
