Newsweek is a left wing rag, which gave up objectivity to become the Democratic party propaganda wing several years ago. Who gives a rip what Newsweek says.
I have 2 names for U >>
Pastor Manning
Larry Sinclair
Game over !!!!
If I were the type to try and smear McCain I might ask if this country, in the precarious position it is, can ill afford to put its hopes and future in the hands of a man (McCain) who finished 895th out of 899 in his graduating class at “the academy.” I might also wonder, out loud as the media wants to do, if that poor performance might have had something to do with him crashing a handful of jets before he was finally shot down.
I have two words for you: Greg Davis.
Mississippi is a sign of things to come – Reason?
Tuesday’s special election in Mississippi’s 1st Congressional District, in a conservative stronghold where Democrat Travis Childers cruised to an eight-point win over Republican Greg Davis despite more than $1 million in NRCC spending and a visit from Vice President Dick Cheney.
The ‘preshocks’ were in the 2006 election, the but the real ‘Republican Earthquake’ is going to be felt in November of 2008. Hang on.
I love Liz Stephans objectivity. She accuses the conservatives of always playing dirty, but not a word about the Democrats dirty tricks. way to go Liz.
Dracula: Just to clear things up — I was criticizing the Newsweek cover story and its attempt to demonize the tactics of the Republican Party/McCain campaign (even going so far as to state what the party surely would be willing to do to win if clean politics aren’t cutting it) while juxtaposing it with a highly-favorable view of how the Obama campaign is/will be run. My criticisms don’t lie with either of the two campaigns, but with Newsweek’s willingness to run a piece as a cover story that should, in my opinion, have at the least been labeled an op-ed. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Best, Liz
New Rules for Political Discussion from Newsweek:
Questioning Obama’s choice of a hateful, racist radical Spiritual Advisor–or re-printing that hatemonger’s own words = Racism.
Pointing out Obama’s own pledge to negotiate WITHOUT PRECONDITIONS with Ahmadinejad and other murderous tyrants = Smear.
Noting that Hamas explicitly endorsed Obama for US President = McCain is Senile.
When McCain and the Republicans say “America” they mean Whites.
mary factual – you are right on the money. When all is said & done, Obama may lose at least 54 of the 57 states he campaigned in.

People say that Obama’s supporters are obsessed with him but that’s nothing compared to the amount of attention his critics give him.
Too bad McCain is seen as such a lackluster republican candidate, otherwise he might get some press too.
