The presumptive next president of the United States Barack Obama might as well get right to it and start tearing into McCain now. McCain is fumbling trying to love and hate G.W. Bush and his war. As Obama is rocketing skyward, McCain is flying in ready to get shot down again and Obama needs to be sure that happens. Right now everything is going perfectly, but Obama has to be sure it stays that way.

Hopefully, Obama and Clinton can come to an accord and run together. But Clinton’s support is at least many weeks off still. Right now, it is all Obama and he need to milk it for all it’s worth.

The conventions will now just turn into big long TV advertisements. And it looks like the November election will be another crushing defeat for the republicans across the full spectrum of offices.

I’m excited! This is truely a great historic moment, but there is a lot of work ahead. ddroland stated that the Clintons destroyed the economy which is a blatant untruth. If you’ll recall when G.W. took the helm there was a surplus, now we have a this astronomical deficit. Anyway, I think some people are missing the point. Obama’s democratic candidacy and presumed win over McCain indeed represents change and hope for most Americans out there. Because most Americans are not wealthy and they are working hard to make ends meet while the hard-earned money puts less on the table. The extent of the change will depend on the citizens of this great USA. If we truly live in a democracy, it means that we, the people, have the power to make change, so we, the people have to “work” for a better future with our elected representatives fighting for what we want.

On the topic of perceived socialism, I see this as taking care of American citizens. We have to stop being selfish and take a look at the big picture. Even if you live in the Manors of Hamptons, the poverty in America has an affect on you. Again, the American people need to take back the control from all the career politicians that are continually misrepresenting us and forwarding their own personal agendas at our expense.

The bottom line is that anything that anyone says can perceived 1000 different ways by 1000 different people. For all the folks that are letting their prejudice guide their decisions, I only hope that one day you will decide to join the fight for true freedom.

True freedom is the ability to choose what you want to do with your own life (as long as it’s not hurting or against someone else’s will). The choices you make are yours to make. And therefore if you make bad ones it’s nobody’s fault but your OWN. And true freedom doesn’t not mean others should be responsible for your life choices and life failures.
Taking money away from one person to give to another simply because their own life choices have lead them into the poor house is not true freedom.
It’s like the “housing crisis”. Uhhh when you signed that bottom line and knew you were getting into an adjustable rate mortgage you should have known you were taking a gamble. No different than putting a coin into a slot machine.

Your life choices should never, EVER effect anyone around you negatively. So if you choose to not better yourself, or have children when you know you can’t afford them, or take a gamble, because that’s what getting an adjustable rate mortgage is a gamble, it shouldn’t fall on any other person to pay more of their money to cover your failures.
That is true freedom. The freedom to be successful and the freedom to fail and have it be on your shoulders to burden not other tax payers.

Every one of you Barrack Hussein Obama nuts ought to print and save your rambling inanities of praise for this phony American. The damage BHO is planning to wreak upon this nation if, God forbid, he is elected, will come back to haunt you all.
