Very interesting that Vicente Fox is trying to tell us about illegal immigration. “So, when are they going to finally address it (illegal immigration)? It needs to be resolved.” Sure, Vicente! It needs to be resolved. When are you guys going to do something about it? When is the Mexican government going to fix their own mess so Mexicans don’t have to leave and risk their lives crossing through the desert and mountains? When are you guys going to fix your own economy and stop being so corrupt? The nerve of this idiot!

Then he goes, “To be so repressive isn’t democractic or free … to be putting up fences, chasing Mexicans, that isn’t right,” Fox said. “The U.S. needs better answers than repression, weapons and violence.” Again, how are you guys treating illegals from Central America when they cross through Mexico? Mexican police, military and border patrol agents rob, rape, beat up and even kill any poor Central Americans who has the misfortune of meeting any of these thugs. Human rights are not existing in Mexico, and anybody who has lived there (I moved to the USA after finishing college down there) knows plenty of atrocities commited by the so-called “security forces”.

Vicente also let us know how racist our policies are: “The xenophobics, the racists, those who feel they are a superior race … they are deciding the future of this nation,” Yes, Vicente, just don’t forget that the term “Indian” is still used as the worst derogatory term in Mexico (as in “you stinking Indian”) Let’s just remember how important is to look European to have a chance to get a job since the term “good presentation” is still used as a requirement for employment in Mexico. This basically means that Indian-looking people need not apply.

This other one talks about “killing brigades” from the political party PRI responsible for the Massacre in Acteal, Chiapas on Dec. 22, 1997. After several hours of shooting unarmed civilians, there were 45 dead: 21 women, 9 men, 14 children and a two-month baby. Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de Leon was the president of Mexico. He promised to find the gunmen and make sure justice prevailed. After 10 years, he is still looking for them, we suppose.
